NVIDIA Expands Partnership With Toyota to Build AI-Powered Mobility Ecosystem

NVIDIA is broadening its collaboration with Toyota Motor (TYO:7203) to integrate physical AI across vehicles, manufacturing, and urban infrastructure, according to a statement on Wednesday.

The partnership expands Toyota's use of NVIDIA DRIVE AGX and DriveOS for L2++ vehicles, while also applying NVIDIA's computing and simulation technologies to optimize engineering, factory operations, and urban systems.

Toyota is accelerating software development with a custom AI code assistant, leveraging NVIDIA Megatron-LM and Nemotron to improve safety-critical code generation and review.

On the manufacturing side, the automaker is using NVIDIA Omniverse and Isaac Sim for factory simulation and digital twins to reduce downtime and boost efficiency.

Toyota's Woven subsidiary has developed a multimodal vision language model for urban traffic intelligence, powered by NVIDIA H100 GPUs, to interpret real-world conditions and improve mobility responsiveness.
