0442 GMT - Aeon Thana Sinsap (Thailand) stands to benefit from falling credit costs, UOB Kay Hian analysts say in a research report. Its credit costs fell 55 basis points on-quarter and provision expenses dropped 8% on-quarter in 1Q FY 2027, the analysts note. Reduction in provisioning was supported by reversal of management overlay that the company set aside to prepare for potential damage from Thailand's southern flood disaster, the analysts say. The brokerage lifts its earnings forecasts for the financial services provider by 9.0% in FY 2027, 8.4% in FY 2028 and 7.5% in FY 2029. It raises the stock's rating to buy from hold and the target price to 125.00 baht from 104.00 baht. Shares are unchanged at 110.00 baht. (ronnie.harui@wsj.com)
