Huaneng Power International (SHA:600011, HKG:0902) issued 2 billion yuan in medium-term debts, according to a Saturday filing with the Shanghai bourse.
The debts have a term of at least two years and carry an interest rate of 1.67%.
China Merchants Bank (HKG:3968, SHA:600036), Guotai Haitong Securities (HKG:2611, SHA:601211), and Everbright Securities (HKG:6178, SHA:601788) are the underwriters.
Shares fell 2% in Hong Kong and 1% in Shanghai during the midday break on Monday.
