Social Buzz: Wallstreetbets Stocks Mostly Lower Premarket Friday; Netflix, SpaceX to Decline

The most-talked-about stocks in the Reddit subforum Wallstreetbets were mostly lower hours before Friday's opening bell.

Netflix (NFLX) fell 8.9% hours before market open, reversing a 0.9% increase at Thursday's close. The company reported mixed fiscal Q2 results, with earnings above consensus while sales missed, and Q3 guidance lagging market expectations.

SpaceX (SPCX) declined by 3.2% in premarket activity, after closing Thursday with a 3.1% fall. The company's Starship rocket triggered an "automatic launch abort" Thursday, with the next launch to be rescheduled possibly "in a few days," SpaceX CEO Elon Musk said in a post on X.

Microsoft (MSFT) was 2.2% lower pre-bell, swinging from a 1.4% increase at Thursday's close.

Rocket Lab (RKLB) was down 1.5% premarket, following an 11.6% fall from the previous session.

Sandisk (SNDK) fell 0.9% in pre-bell hours, after a 5.5% decline from Thursday's session.

AST SpaceMobile (ASTS) was down 0.8% pre-bell, following a 17% fall at Thursday's close.

Micron Technology (MU) was 0.4% lower premarket, after a 2.9% decline from the previous session.

Bucking the trend, Apple (AAPL) was 0.1% higher pre-bell, following a 1.8% increase from Thursday's session.
