Exodus Movement said it will reduce its workforce by about 25%.

The company said the move will better align its costs and priorities as it builds a full-stack card issuance and payments platform, and continues to integrate the acquisitions of Monavate and Baanx.

The provider of financial tools and services said it expects to recognize about $2.5 million to $3.5 million of pre-tax charges, mostly severance and related personnel costs. The action is expected to generate about $10 million to $13 million of annualized cash operating expense savings, Exodus added.

Exodus said impacted workers will receive severance, continued benefits, and other transition support.

At the start of the year, Exodus had about 215 full-time employees.
