St Barbara Produces Nearly 15,000 Ounces of Gold at Papua New Guinea Project in June

St Barbara (ASX:SBM) produced 14,658 ounces of gold at the New Simberi Gold project in Papua New Guinea in the June quarter, according to a Monday filing with the Australian bourse.

Gold sales totaled 13,399 ounces at a realized gold price of AU$6,314 per ounce, the filing said.

Gold production was 14,620 ounces in the same period last year, with gold sales totaling 15,564 ounces at an average sale price of AU$5,117 per ounce, a separate filing said.

Fiscal year gold production totaled 48,395 ounces, while gold sales totaled 47,280 ounces at a realized gold price of AU$6,232 per ounce, per the filing.

Shares rose more than 1% in morning trade Monday.
