0246 GMT - Bitcoin rises in the early Asian session amid a broadly supportive macro backdrop. Last week's softer-than-expected U.S. inflation data provided a modest lift to the cryptocurrency, Crypto Finance Group's Sandra Brekalo says. However, she notes that easing inflation and lower rate expectations have yet to spark a meaningful rally. "The absence of follow-through suggests investors remain unwilling to commit meaningful capital until a more crypto-native catalyst emerges," Brekalo says. Moreover, weakness across technology stocks has also spilled over into cryptocurrencies, with the de-rating of AI infrastructure names weighing on speculative digital assets as investors reduce risk appetite broadly, Crypto Finance Group adds. Bitcoin is up 0.5% at $64,833.30.(jason.chau@wsj.com)
