CuspAI Raises $450 Million at $2.6 Billion Valuation in Series B Funding Round

CuspAI has raised $450 million in its latest Series B funding round at a $2.6 billion valuation, securing investments from Amazon (AMZN) founder Jeff Bezos, it said in a blog post Monday.

Additionally, the startup said it has launched AI Materials Foundry, a new venture with support from 45 companies aimed at designing new materials using artificial intelligence for the semiconductor, energy, and advanced manufacturing industries.

The founding partners of the AI Materials Foundry include Nvidia (NVDA), Meta (META), Samsung, Hyundai Motor, Henkel, Applied Materials (AMAT), Tokyo Electron, and Lam Research, CuspAI said.

The startup said it will open a new office in Singapore and hire additional staff in Cambridge, Amsterdam, Berlin, Tokyo, and the US.
