0752 GMT - Rotork's valuation in ABB's takeover bid has got investors thinking about other potential pockets of mispricing across the broader U.K capital goods space, Berenberg analysts Andrew Simms and Tom Castle say in a research note. The read-across to more obvious peers with similar drivers, such as Smiths Group, is clearly positive, the analysts say. High-quality engineering assets with structural growth drivers and valuations that don't match underlying earnings potential should be in focus, they say. Smiths Group, Weir Group and Spirax Group are also likely to grab attention in this context, they add. Berenberg lowers its recommendation on the stock to hold from buy and raises its price target to 503 pence from 420 pence. Rotork shares trade broadly flat at 484.8 pence. Smiths shares trade 0.1% higher. (nina.kienle@wsj.com)
