Vedanta Aluminium Metal (NSE:VAML, BOM:544780) said its promoter group entities entered into a $1 billion bridge facility agreement to refinance debt and for general corporate purposes, according to a regulatory filing on Saturday.
Twin Star Holdings is the borrower, while Vedanta Resources, Vedanta Holdings Mauritius II, and Welter Trading are guarantors under the facility agreement dated July 15.
Vedanta Aluminium said it is not a party to the agreement and the facility will have no direct impact on its management or control.
