Comcast's the Odyssey Opens to $124.5 Million at US Box Office

Comcast's (CMCSA) Universal Pictures debuted The Odyssey with an estimated $124.5 million at the domestic box office, according to data from Box Office Mojo.

Directed by Christopher Nolan, the film adapts Homer's epic poem, following Odysseus' perilous journey home to Ithaca after the Trojan War, where he encounters the Cyclops Polyphemus, the Sirens and Calypso.

The film was produced on a reported $250 million budget.
