Organon (OGN) said Friday that a post hoc analysis of pooled data from two phase 3 trials show that Vtama cream for the treatment of atopic dermatitis and plaque psoriasis demonstrated early and consistent improvements in disease severity.
Across the three pediatric age groups, therapeutic responses in patients with moderate to severe atopic dermatitis emerged as early as week 2 and continued through the end of the 8-week treatment period, according to the company.
Children comprised roughly 80% of the pooled trial population. Mild-to-moderate cases of folliculitis, headache, and nasopharyngitis were the most common treatment-emergent adverse events in the atopic dermatitis group, the company said.
