PayPay (PAYP) and Seven & i Holdings are in final talks over combining their customer data as part of an investment deal, Nikkei Asia reported Thursday.
PayPay and SoftBank are mulling separate investments of about 100 billion Japanese yen ($612.2 million) each in Seven & i, with further details expected as early as the end of July. The companies also expect to finalize the terms of the customer data integration in the near future, Nikkei reported.
PayPay and Seven & i Holdings did not immediately respond to MT Newswires' requests for comments.
