Dow Jones07-21

1243 GMT - Exports of Swiss watches seem to be improving with positive trends across key markets, RBC Capital Markets analyst Nikolaos Lafioniatis says. Total exports of timepieces made in Switzerland climbed 11% in June compared with the same period last year, according to a report by the Federation of the Swiss Watch Industry. The sector's performance looks strong in the U.S. and France, the analyst says. Exports of Swiss watches to the U.K. remain healthy and are improving in Asian markets, he adds. This is positive for Swatch Group and Watches of Switzerland, given their presence in these markets, Lafioniatis says. Watches of Switzerland trades 2% lower, while shares in Swatch fall 1.7%.
