Visteon (VC) reported Q2 adjusted earnings Thursday of $1.91 per diluted share, down from $2.61 a year earlier.
Analysts polled by FactSet expected $2.21.
Net sales for the quarter ended June 30 were $960 million, compared with $969 million a year earlier.
Analysts expected $955.8 million.
Visteon said it entered into a $200 million accelerated share repurchase deal under its $800 million share buyback authorization. The accelerated share repurchase is expected to be completed in early Q4, the company added.
Visteon shares were down more than 4% premarket Thursday.
