Chevron (CVX) halted output at its Petronius site and evacuated all workers to land ahead of Tropical Storm Bertha, the company said Monday.

The energy producer also removed unneeded staff from its Tubular Bells and Blind Faith offshore installations, but output at the rest of its Gulf of America locations is continuing normally, it said.

Land-based properties are executing extreme weather protocols while management tracks the approaching storm, the company added.
