Co-Diagnostics' India Joint Venture Launches Clinical Studies for Tuberculosis Test

Co-Diagnostics (CODX) said Wednesday that its CoSara Diagnostics joint venture in India is initiating clinical studies for its tuberculosis test on the CoSara PCR Pro instrument.

The company said the CoSara PCR Pro instrument, which is the CoSara-branded version of the Co-Dx PCR Pro point-of-care instrument, is being deployed in select labs across India for tuberculosis testing evaluation.

Co-Dx PCR platform products, including PCR test kits and the sample lysis instrument, are expected to be manufactured and distributed in India under the CoSara brand, the company said.

The Co-Dx PCR platform and associated tests remain subject to review or authorization by applicable regulatory authorities and are not yet available for sale.

Shares of Co-Diagnostics were up more than 8% pre-bell.
