Dow Jones07-21
1254 GMT - The Swiss watch sector's recovery faces uncertainty due to the war in Iran,Vontobel's Jean-Philippe Bertschy says. Exports of Swiss timepieces to the Middle East were broadly flattish in June. Those to United Arab Emirates recorded growth, while exports to other markets declined. Watchmakers are grappling with the impact of the war in the Middle East, which has disrupted global travel and hit consumers. "The renewed escalation of Middle East tensions adds a fresh layer of uncertainty to an already fragile regional demand backdrop," the analyst writes in a note. (andrea.figueras@wsj.com)
