East Buy Holding (HKG:1797) expects net profit for the fiscal second half to range between 281 million yuan and 311 million yuan, up 173% to 202% from 103 million yuan a year earlier, according to a Thursday Hong Kong bourse filing.
Revenue for the six months ended May 31 is expected to increase 50% to 59% to 3.3 billion yuan to 3.5 billion yuan.
The livestreaming e-commerce company attributed the profit growth mainly to the continued expansion of its private-label product portfolio, an improved product mix and strong sales of certain private-label products.
