Shares of Novocure rose after the global oncology company raised its fiscal 2026 revenue guidance, as sales rose and its loss narrowed in the second quarter.
The stock was up 26% to $19.59 in recent trading, and rose 51% since the start of the year.
Novocure reported a loss of $15.7 million, or 13 cents a share, compared with a loss of $40.1 million, or 36 cents a share, a year earlier.
Revenue rose 16% to $183.6 million. Analysts polled by FactSet expected $172.4 million.
Chief Executive Frank Leonard said the company would continue to launch therapies in multiple markets. He added Novocure was well-positioned to drive sustainable growth and make material progress toward profitability.
Novocure raised its fiscal 2026 revenue guidance to between $710 million and $725 million from its previous guidance of between $690 million and $710 million. Analysts polled by FactSet were expecting $708.7 million.
