Medpace Shares Rise After 2Q Earnings Beat Estimates

Shares of Medpace Holdings rose after the clinical contract research organization's second-quarter earnings beat estimates.

The stock was up 15% to $606.08 in recent trading, and rose 8.1% since the start of the year.

Medpace reported net income of $121.4 million, or $4.25 a share, compared with $90.3 million, or $3.10 a share, a year earlier.

Revenue rose 17% to $707.3 million. Analysts polled by FactSet expected $689.5 million.

Operating income was $146.8 million.

Medpace forecast fiscal 2026 revenue between $2.81 billion and $2.89 billion and guided for net income between $494 million and $514 million. Analysts polled by FactSet are expecting fiscal 2026 revenue of $2.77 billion and net income of $493.2 million.
