Lazard Looking for Deals in Asset Management

Dow Jones07-23

Lazard is still on the hunt for deals in the asset management space.

CEO Peter Orszag said on a call with media that the firm is looking at lots of potential deals, including in wealth management. A deal in the advisory business is possible, he said, but the firm is more focused on the other side of the business.

Lazard in April announced it would acquire private-markets advisor Campbell Lutyens for $575 million.
