MT Newswires Live07-22

VinFast Auto (VFS) expects to break even in Vietnam by 2027 and achieve global profitability shortly afterward, Bloomberg reported Wednesday, citing Deputy CEO of Investment Anne Pham at the Bloomberg Sustainable Business Summit in Singapore.

Pham said the company's low-cost VF 2 model received about 29,000 orders within three days of its early July launch, supporting domestic sales, according to the report.

Bloomberg said VinFast remains open to acquisitions and partnerships as it expands internationally and plans to increase manufacturing localization in India and Indonesia.

VinFast Auto did not immediately respond to MT Newswires' request for comment.
