Kroger (KR) is among the retailers carrying nearly 1.6 million dozen eggs recalled by Midwest Poultry due to potential Salmonella contamination, the US Food and Drug Administration said Wednesday.
The recalled eggs, produced at farms in Texas, were sold at Kroger stores in Texas and Louisiana, among others, according to the FDA.
Kroger and Midwest Poultry did not immediately respond to MT Newswires' requests for comment.
