Miniatures and board game publisher CMON (HKG:1792) said it will not proceed with the proposed acquisition of a 2.2% stake in Blissful Link Investments after the conditions precedent to completion under the agreement were not fulfilled, according to a Hong Kong bourse filing on Wednesday.
The proposed acquisition, announced in April, involved the company's wholly owned subsidiary CMON Hong Kong buying 220 shares in Blissful Link Investments for about HK$16.5 million.
CMON said the termination is not expected to have a material adverse effect on its business, operations or financial position.
