Obic's Attributable Profit Jumps 16% in Fiscal Q1

Obic (TYO:4684) profit attributable to owners of the parent jumped 16.3% to 22.7 billion yen for the three months ended June 30 from 19.51 billion yen a year earlier.

The information technology company's basic earnings per share (EPS) rose to 53.01 yen from 44.36 yen a year ago, according to a Tokyo bourse filing on Wednesday.

Net sales jumped 13.2% to 36.70 billion yen from 32.43 billion yen in the year-ago corresponding period.

For the fiscal year ending March 31, 2027, the company expects attributable profit of 82 billion yen, basic EPS of 189.23 yen, and net sales of 148.7 billion yen.

The company expects to pay a second-quarter-end dividend of 37.00 yen per share for the current fiscal year.

The company expects to pay a year-end dividend of 47.00 yen per share for the current fiscal year.
