Microsoft-backed (MSFT) OpenAI is working with Hugging Face in investigating a security incident last week, where a combination of OpenAI models hacked Hugging Face, according to a Tuesday statement.
OpenAI said the incident happened during an internal evaluation of the models' cyber capabilities. OpenAI's and Hugging Face's security teams detected the activity, and Hugging Face had started to implement countermeasures by the time OpenAI reached out, the company added.
The companies plan to release further details after completing their investigation, according to the statement.
