Saturn Metals (ASX:STN) has been granted three key exploration licenses covering the Aquarius Gold Prospect in Western Australia, providing access for follow-up drilling across a 26.5-kilometer-long, drill-defined gold trend located about 30 kilometers southeast of its Apollo Hill Gold Project, according to a Friday Australian bourse filing.
The newly granted ground contains historical drilling by Sumitomo Metal Mining Oceania, which delivered high-grade results including 3 meters at 8.51 grams per tonne gold, as well as multiple significant reverse circulation and diamond drill intercepts, including 36 meters at 1.25 grams per tonne gold, per the filing.
The company is planning follow-up drilling in the coming months while advancing development of the nearby Apollo Hill project after recently securing its mining lease, the filing added.
