Market Chatter: Top South Korean Technology Leaders to Meet Nvidia Chief in US

South Korean technology leaders, including Samsung Electronics' (KRX:005930) Chairman Jay Y Lee, SK Group Chairman Chey Tae-won and Naver (KRX:035420) Founder Lee Hae-jin are expected to meet Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang in the US this week, Pulse News reported Wednesday, citing people familiar with the matter.

The meeting, expected to be held in Silicon Valley on Friday, may also see participation from OpenAI chief executive Sam Altman and Anthropic chief executive Dario Amodei.

The planned gathering is said to be one of a kind, uniting top executives across the AI industry, including memory chips, semiconductors, AI processors, and generative AI services.

Samsung Electronics, SK Group and Naver did not immediately respond to a request for comment from MT Newswires.
