Pilbara Gold (ASX:PGL) identified high-grade gold mineralization during its 2026 drilling program at the 2.1 million-ounce Mt York Gold Project in Western Australia, where a more than 50,000-meter drilling program is underway, according to a Wednesday Australian bourse filing.
The results were of up to 6 meters at 3.19 grams per tonne (g/t) gold from 225 meters, including 3 meters at 5.56 g/t gold from 227 meters at the Main Hill deposit, and 21 meters at 1.42 g/t gold from 228 meters, including 7 meters at 3.54 g/t gold from 231 meters at Gossan Hill.
A Mt York mineral resource estimate update is expected in late calendar 2026, the filing added.
