0452 GMT - Two Japanese restaurant operators, Zensho Holdings and Food & Life Companies, look attractive and well-positioned to overcome hurdles in the industry, Nomura's Yusuke Sakamoto says in a research report. Zensho Holdings' earnings are likely to be driven by an accelerated rollout of Hamasushi chain in China and growth in overseas markets for take-home sushi, the analyst says. Food & Life Companies has been swiftly expanding its operations in mainland China, where it has been stepping up store openings since its fiscal year ended September 2023. Nomura assigns buy ratings to Zensho Holdings and Food & Life Companies, with target prices of 10,800 yen and 6,600 yen, respectively. Shares of Zensho Holdings and Food & Life Companies trade at 9,115 yen and 5,319 yen, respectively. (ronnie.harui@wsj.com)
