Jinxin Fertility (HKG:1951) expects to post a profit of at least 90 million yuan for the first half, compared with a net loss of 1.04 billion yuan a year earlier, according to a Tuesday Hong Kong bourse filing.
The in-vitro fertilization company attributed the growth in earnings to the continued recovery of its U.S. business, expansion of personalized services that increased VIP client penetration, and higher demand for assisted reproductive services in China.
The turnaround to net profit primarily reflected the absence of significant impairment losses and other one-off items recognized in the year-earlier period.
