Icon (ICLR) said Tuesday it has formed a multi-year partnership with Amazon.com-backed (AMZN) Anthropic to add the Claude artificial intelligence platform into its clinical trial software.
The medical research firm will use the technology to help choose trial sites, monitor patient enrollment risks, and improve study designs, the company said.
Financial terms of the collaboration were not disclosed.
Icon shares were up by more than 9% in early Tuesday trading.
