Microsoft (MSFT) said on Monday it introduced Project Perception, an AI-powered cybersecurity platform designed to detect, assess and respond to cyber threats in real time as attackers increasingly use AI to automate attacks.
Project Perception uses specialized AI agents that simulate attacks, analyze risks and automatically strengthen defenses in a continuous feedback loop, the company said.
The platform combines Microsoft's security data, threat intelligence and AI models to help organizations identify vulnerabilities and respond more quickly while keeping human defenders in control, the company said.
Microsoft said Project Perception will enter public preview on Aug. 3.
