Barrick Mining (B) evacuated all workers at its Barriales camp in Chile's Atacama region by air after severe storms blocked land access, according to a Google translation of the company's Saturday statement.

"All were safely transported and are in good health," the company said.

Rescue efforts began on Friday and were completed the following day after weather conditions allowed helicopters to fly safely, the company said.

Additionally, Barrick said that its three workers at the Potrerillos camp will remain there while ongoing land clearing work is completed, noting that they are in good health and have access to electricity, water, and food.
