0725 GMT - European stock indexes rise in early trade after further falls in oil prices buoy sentiment. The Europe-wide Stoxx 600 is 0.3% higher. London's FTSE 100 nudges up 100 amid conflicting earnings stories. Unilever gains 4.9% after second-quarter sales beat investors' expectations. Barclays falls 4.9% even after recording above-expectation credit impairments. In Paris, the CAC 40 is 0.6% higher. Index heavyweight LVMH is up 1.1% after reporting strong sales, encouraging gains across luxuries. The German DAX is up 0.7%, led by autos as Mercedes-Benz Group jumps 5.5% after posting above-forecast revenue.
