Tata Motors Passenger Vehicles Reports Flood-Related Disruption at Gujarat Plant

Tata Motors Passenger Vehicles (NSE:TATAMOTORS, BOM:500570) said operations at its Sanand, Gujarat plant and supplier facilities in and around the state have been severely disrupted due to flooding caused by heavy rainfall.

The Sanand plant manufactures the Tiago, Tigor, Nexon and Sierra models, according to a Monday filing with the Indian bourses. The company is working to restore production at both its manufacturing facility and supplier locations on a priority basis and expects operations to return to normal over the next few days.

Shares of the company fell over 1% in recent trade.
