Court Makes Orders Rescheduling Australian Strategic Materials Shareholder Meeting for Proposed Acquisition by Energy Fuels Unit

Australian Strategic Materials (ASX:ASM) said the Federal Court of Australia, Western Australia Registry, made orders on Tuesday rescheduling to Aug. 12 the meetings of the company's shareholders and option holders to vote on schemes of arrangement for its proposed acquisition by EFR Critical Materials, a wholly-owned unit of Energy Fuels, according to a Tuesday Australian bourse filing.

The court also approved the dispatch of a supplementary explanatory statement to the scheme booklet that contains additional and updated information relevant to the schemes to Australian Strategic Materials' security holders, the company said.

Dispatch of the supplementary booklet to the security holders is expected to be completed on or around July 31.

The company's shares rose past 1% in recent Tuesday trade.
