Anax Metals (ASX:ANX) began front-end engineering design (FEED) for its 80%-owned Whim Creek Copper Project in Western Australia, targeted to support a final investment decision in the fourth quarter of the year, according to a Monday Australian bourse filing.
The company said it remains actively engaged with potential financing and strategic partners as part of the ongoing funding process, with select parties shortlisted and site visits and diligence activities advancing as planned.
The company's shares fell 3% in recent Monday trade.
