U.S. chipmakers are taking a beating this morning:

-Coherent is down about 8%

-Advanced Micro Devices fell nearly 8%

-Micron is down almost 7%

-Applied Materials is down about 5.5%

-Intel drops around 5%

-Nvidia is down more than 3.5%

-TSMC falls around 3.5%
