Sunshine Biopharma (SBFM) said Tuesday that Health Canada has approved its generic Ondansetron tablets of 4 milligrams and 8 milligrams for the Canadian market.
Ondansetron is intended to treat nausea and vomiting caused by cancer chemotherapy, radiation therapy, and surgery, the company said, adding that it works by blocking the actions of chemicals in the body that trigger nausea and vomiting.
Shares of Sunshine Biopharma were up 2.6% pre-bell.
