Silvaco (SVCO) and NVIDIA announced a collaboration to advance next-generation digital twins for semiconductor design and manufacturing, late Sunday.
Silvaco, a provider of advanced software that helps design semiconductors, will join with Nvidia-provided AI to create "digital twins" useful in advancing semiconductor design and manufacturing.
A digital semiconductor twin is virtual replica of an actual semiconductor, intended to mirror real world behavior and performance.
Silvaco said the cooperation with Nvidia would accelerate semiconductor simulation solutions and increase design productivity.
