Yum China (YUMC) reported Q2 adjusted earnings Thursday of $0.70 per diluted share, up from $0.58 a year earlier.
Four analysts polled by FactSet expected $0.67.
Revenue for the quarter ended June 30 was $3.14 billion, compared with $2.79 billion a year earlier.
Analysts expected $3.05 billion.
For 2026, the fast-food restaurant company expects to add 1,900 new stores to a total of more than 20,000.
Shares of the company were up 1.7% in Thursday premarket activity.
