Lear (LEA) reported Q2 adjusted earnings Friday of $4.28 per share, up from $3.47 a year earlier.
Analysts polled by FactSet expected $3.98.
Sales for the quarter ended June 30 were $6.21 billion, compared with $6.03 billion a year earlier.
Analysts expected $6.15 billion.
For fiscal 2026, the company narrowed its net sales guidance to $23.54 billion to $24.01 billion, compared with its prior guidance of $23.21 billion to $24.01 billion. Analysts are looking for $23.73 billion.
Shares of the company were up 1.9% in Friday premarket activity.
