Stellantis to Recall About 1.27M Ram 1500 Pickups in U.S.

Stellantis, the parent company of Chrysler, said it is voluntarily recalling about 1.27 million Ram 1500 pickup trucks in the U.S. to address a seat-belt issue.

The automaker said Friday that some Ram 1500 vehicles may have been built with a second-row-center or second-row-driver-side seat-buckle anchor that wasn't properly attached to the body structure of the vehicle.

Stellantis said the error could increase the risk of injury to occupants in certain collisions.

The company will notify affected vehicle owners to contact their dealer to schedule an inspection, the company said.

Stellantis reported sales of 204,139 Ram 1500 pickups in 2025 and 187,013 in 2024. It also reported Ram 1500 sales of 125,522 for the first half of 2026.
