AwanBiru Technology (KLSE:AWANTEC) said a memorandum of understanding between its unit, Awantec Systems, and Malaysia's National Cyber Security Agency (NACSA) has expired, according to a Wednesday Malaysian bourse filing.
The two-year MOU, which took effect on July 30, 2024, ceased to have effect on July 29, 2026.
The agreement aimed to promote cooperation in cybersecurity technology, services and talent development.
The company said the expiry of the MOU is not expected to have any material financial impact on the group.
