1519 ET - Hyatt is off 5% as investors focus on the company's shift in net rooms growth, according to Melius Research in a note. Hyatt expects net rooms growth to be around 6% in 2026, compared to prior guidance of 6% to 7%. Investors are continually keeping a close eye on rooms growth as a key metric of hotel health, analysts Conor Cunningham and Patrick Coleman say. Shareholders were also looking for more upside as the demand environment has improved, they say. But the analysts believe Hyatt still possesses significant potential longer term, with a high-end customer base and a lot of space for future rooms growth.
