PayPay Fiscal Q1 Earnings, Revenue Rise; Fiscal Q2, 2027, Revenue Outlook Updated

PayPay (PAYP) reported fiscal Q1 earnings late Thursday of 27.02 Japanese yen ($0.17) per diluted share, up from 16.66 yen a year earlier.

Analysts polled by FactSet expected 25.44 yen.

Revenue for the quarter ended June 30 was 109.79 billion yen, up from 84.15 billion yen a year earlier.

Analysts surveyed by FactSet expected 107.84 billion yen.

For fiscal Q2, the company expects revenue of 114 billion yen to 116 billion yen. Analysts expect 115.70 billion yen.

For fiscal 2027, the company expects revenue of 465 billion yen to 473 billion yen. Compared to its previous outlook of 454 billion to 462 billion yen. Analysts expect 477.61 billion yen.

Shares of the company were up 1.8% in Friday premarket activity.
