Hippo Shares Rise After Q2 Adjusted Earnings, Revenue Surpass Consensus

Hippo Holdings (HIPO) shares rose more than 12% in early trading on Thursday after the company posted better-than expected adjusted earnings and revenue for Q2.

The insurer reported Q2 adjusted earnings of $0.79 per diluted share, up from $0.65 a year earlier.

Analysts polled by FactSet expected $0.12.

Revenue for the quarter ended June 30 was $144.7 million, up from $117.3 million a year earlier.

Analysts expected revenue of $137.4 million.

Hippo raised its full-year 2026 revenue guidance to a range of $580 million to $585 million from the previous range of $560 million to $570 million. Analysts expect revenue of $569.2 million.
