Trump: Board of Peace reaches historic disarmament deal for Gaza

President Donald Trump announced on July 30 that the Board of Peace has reached a historic agreement for the complete disarmament of Hamas and all other armed groups in Gaza, calling it a monumental step toward lasting peace and security.

The agreement, a key milestone in the implementation of the Trump 20-Point Plan, will be carried out in carefully structured phases. As disarmament is completed, Israeli forces will withdraw, and an International Stabilization Force will work with a new Palestinian police force to ensure Gaza's safety for residents and neighbors. Trump said the deal paves the way for Gaza to be governed by a new Palestinian government that will cooperate with the Board of Peace.
